RouterWorks CNC Routers
 
Routerworks desktop CNC routers have been specifically designed and manufacured to meet the rigororous requirements of education. The desktop systems are available in sizes from 15"x15"x4" through 24"x36"x8" in either stepper or servo drives.
All RouterWorks CNC routers are controlled by a very easy but flexible control software called StarCam.
StarCam is a MS Windows program which connects to the machine through a standard USB port. The software provides comprehensive features for the complete control of all RouterWorks CNC machines. The optimized control of the stepper motors provides greater operating speeds (up to 30%) compared to other CNC controls (program look ahead). The multitasking function of MS Windows ensures a fast and reliable data exchange between the StarCam and other applications (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD or CorelDraw). Program features include override speeds and feeds with , editing capability of programs on the fly. Multitask by preparing new projects during part execution and machine operation. StarCam is easy to use, easy to learn and easy to teach. Software come complete with comprehensive operating manual.

Precision Thompson Linear bearings are on all axes. These recirculating ball bearings are extremely accurate and rugged. They guarantee very accurate reliable positioning and excellent cut quality. The hardened rails are bolted to the frame all along their length. The table and frame are made of solid aluminum plate and bar that has been precision machined. We don't use hollow aluminum extrusions like other xyz tables.
